Since so many orthopaedic problems need immediate attention, we have opened three Ortho On-Call urgent care centers. These three walk-in centers, one in Richmond’s West End next to Westbury Pharmacy,one in Southside and our newest location in Chester, help with bone and joint injuries like sprains, strains, slips, trips, falls, and breaks, with convenient hours so you can walk right in without having to make an appointment. All of our centers are staffed with orthopaedically trained clinicians and have the latest diagnostic equipment, so you can be evaluated on the spot.

Worker’s Compensation:

In addition to treating all types of orthopaedic injuries and conditions at each locations, Ortho On-Call, with the support of OrthoVirginia, is committed to initializing comprehensive orthopaedic care for the injured worker. Ultimately this translates into a return to full and gainful employment as soon as possible.

In order to expedite the processing of both your care and Worker’s Compensation claim, please have the following information available at the time of check-in:

  • Valid Photo ID
  • Location of Injury (i.e. left shoulder)
  • Date of Injury
  • Name and phone number of Employer contact and/or Case Manager
  • Adjuster’s Name/Contact Information – If available
  • Name of Workers Compensation Insurance Plan
  • Claim # if available

In the event that at the time of visit a claim number has not been assigned to your case, you will be required to present a valid insurance card. If for any reason your Worker’s Compensation claim is denied, your insurance will be billed for all care associated with the injury. In addition, you may be responsible for some portion of the cost related to your care depending on your financial responsibility as outlined by your personal insurance carrier.
